Magic and Mayhem. Sword and Shadow.
The city of Tonesia is in trouble. Rebel mages from the School of magic are plotting, there are whispers of an uprising. Of powerful magic that could tear the city to shreds as well as the desire and lust for power that some of the Mages are said to have.
The Thieves Guild is growing bolder, they no longer seem scared by the city guard and every other night there is a break in and thefts. But never do they seem to get caught. The identity of the Upright man still remains a mystery but he continues to grow in power and influence and the poor of the city seem to benefit from his protection.
The Nomadic Tribes of the dessert are coming together. And in large numbers. No longer do they pick on travellers that move alone and with minimal protection. Now they are targeting the trade Caravans looting and pillaging them at will. And as such they seem to be only growing more and more powerful as they acquire the items that the city needs to survive.
Alone any one of these problems is causes for concern. But together they have the city in a state of near panic. Tension grows and every day life grows a little harder.
It is a hard place to live at the best of times. But during times of unrest people grow and some even prosper. Is that you?
